OUR STORY
Viking Hat Bakery is a family owned wholesale and retail operation, started by Hannah and Victor dela Cuesta in 2020. Victor has been a chef for over 30 years and has worked in restaurants in multiple countries. Like many chefs in the world, Victor lost his job when the pandemic hit and his restaurant closed. Around the same time, Hannah learned ( from 23&me ) that she is mostly Swedish! She had always dreamed of opening a bakery but never thought she was brave enough to go for it. Somehow finding out her roots made her dig deep into her Viking soul and come up with the adventurous spirit that led them to join forces and go for it. They began by selling artisan bread and bagels to neighbors and friends, but word of mouth and high praise let to a rapidly growing customer base.
They bake everything from scratch using the finest ingredients, including love and badassery!
